At first examine you find an entry to Measles, Oreillons and Rubella.
Today one inoculates with a combination vaccine 2 times in the distance of 4 weeks, a further revitalization is not necessary, the vaccination protection holds lifelong.
All three infections are well known you as "children's diseases", they can these
infections which are caused by viruses, but also agree at the adult age, the
courses can be difficult.
An inoculation protection against rubella is particularly important, if a pregnancy is planned to protect the developing child against the feared rubella embryopathie (deformation) certainly.
Against all 3 infections can be also inoculated separately, although this does naturally few senses. In a pregnancy already existing may not be inoculated!

Turn the leaves whether inoculations are found against Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis, today as combination. For the standard vaccination you should find 3 entries (first, second after 4 weeks and third after approximately 6 - 12 months), then is refreshed all 8 to 10 years (Latin: booster). The last inoculation should be documented at least 1993, otherwise nothing like towards to your doctor.

Pertussis is refreshed only up to the 17th year, it is not important for us adult any more. Who wants to go safe: Revitalization every 8-10 years, expenses around € 25. The is recommended the inoculation only for exposed persons, who are working together and with children's.

The Polio immunization takes place with 2 inoculations in the distance of 4 to 8 weeks and a third inoculation after 6 to 12 months. Because Germany is considered since May, 1998 as free of polio, it is not longer refreshed after the 18th year. The inoculation is therefore considered as a "travel inoculation". Since with journeys to southeast Europe (Mediterranean region), thus in one of the most popular destinations of the Germans (better European Union citizens), an inoculation is however already recommended urgently, one should the slight costs of approx. € 20 not every 8 to 10 years avoid and themselves one refresh inoculation (IPV vaccine) ask. One has given up the oral vaccination which was usual earlier, because of paralysis cases with one of 4 Mil. inoculated.

You will not surely find an inoculation against Haemophilus influenzae type b; this inoculation was introduced only for babies and infants some years ago. Starting from an age of 5 years inoculation are indicated only in exceptional cases.

An inoculation is urgently recommended on the contrary against Flu (Influenza) for all citizens, particularly, however, persons over 60 years, to children and young people as well as adults with increased health endangering as a result of a basic suffering (you consult your physician) or increased exposition. T he inoculation will become annually, preferably in the autumn (from September to November), better additionally also in the spring (from January to March), with a current vaccine; the costs are carried by the health insurance companies.

Again 1997 were introduced on resolution of the WHO (World Health Organization) also the inoculation against Hepatitis B. However, it is taken over only up to 18th year from the German health insurance companies. It counts with it for adults also among the travel inoculations, just as the Hepatitis A vaccination.
For good reason with a combination vaccine against hepatitis A and B. Before journey entrance must be inoculated 2 times in the distance by 4 weeks. After 6 months a refreshing inoculation takes place. The further revitalization's are made dependent on the anti-body titer against hepatitis B (withdrawal a blood test 3 months after the last inoculation). The transfer of the illness is made by inter human contacts (body fluids) of each type: Kisses, sex, closer skin contacts, medical treatments (syringes, only abroad, in Germany practically excluding one way material used). The infection lurks practically everywhere, particularly naturally with remote journeys. There are not efficient working methods actually, approximately 10% of the fell ill develop a cirrhosis of the liver with correspondingly low life expectancy.

Quite similarly also the still more dangerous hepatitis C is transferred, here cannot be inoculated yet. Therefore is also applies to hepatitis B inoculated: Risky behavior avoid.

In a different way infections with hepatitis A. This particularly under
unhygienic conditions (meals, water, also tap water) one transfers. The disease runs urgently and violently, however, heals up nearly always entirely. But then your holidays were no vacation. A increased Hepatitis A of risk is found in southeast Europe, Asia, Africa, central and south America. Again thus also in the preferred destinations of German holiday makers. Who walks a lot in South Germany around rivers (like the Donau) or in similar risk areas like Albania, the Baltic, France, GUS states, Norway, Poland, Austria, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary that is urgently an FSME inoculation to recommend. Of the FSME virus infects ticks and these transfer the infection then by bite to the people. Ticks do not fall how many wrongly believe from trees on persons down, they are rather in ground level - bushes, low plants, grass - to possibly knee height, so that corresponding trousers and footwear already offer a good protection. After a tick bite immediately (within 48 Std.) a doctor visit. Then he will give you an Immunglobulin that at least 50 - 60% protection. Better is a vaccination protection. The inoculation takes place in 3 partial gifts: the second 28 - 90 days after the first, third after 9 - to 12 months.
After approximately 3 years a revitalization takes place in each case. The vaccination protection is reliable and enters approximately 14 days after the 2th partial inoculation.

You have found all inoculations and the last inoculations do not date back in each case too long? Congratulations. You are protected actually all round relatively well. Only for special traveling or with special individual risk factors other inoculations
are still possible.

When may not be inoculated, better when it can? Every healthy can be
inoculated, with just existing infections one should wait for fading away. Besides
different acute or chronically illnesses must be considered, particularly also known
allergies. Ask your doctor about the possible risks for you.
